fundraiser mini faq’s

How much does the session cost? 
The Session Fee for a 10 minute spot on the dates provided range from $30-$40 (depending on the size of the fundraiser that your group has selected). 
Please note that this is a special price and is only available during the fundraising event, no rainchecks.

Are any photos included in the session fee?
Yes, one digital image of your choice is included. If you wish to purchase additional digital images, they are $15 for 1 extra digital, $40 for a pack of 4 extra digitals and $75 to have them all (for galleries with 5+ images).


Who can be involved in a mini session? 
Mini sessions are designed for small groups of people (i.e., up to 2 adults and kids). If you would like the 2 adults to be grandparents, this is fine, however if you would like a session where both parents and grandparents are included, please book a separate session for each combination. The scheduling tool will allow you to book multiple sessions before checking out.

My family have relatives that are also doing a session, can we do a session together? 
As above, if you have multiple combinations of family, please book separate sessions (if possible, I would advise booking the second time right after the first to make the logistics easier). The scheduling tool will allow you to book multiple sessions before checking out.

What happens if I need to reschedule my time that I’ve booked? 
If for any reason your original session time doesn’t work for you and you want to swap it for another, please get in touch with me via email hello@memorieswithclaire.com.au. Please note that if sessions are booked out, a reschedule may not be possible and you may need to forfeit your session, or transfer it to someone else who is able to make it (see below). 


I can’t make my session but I know another family that can, can I transfer them my session? 
Yes absolutely, if this happens, please email me via hello@memorieswithclaire.com.au to notify me of the change and the family’s contact details. 

What if I can’t make the session time on the day due to sickness or other unforeseen reasons? 
I have kids as well, so I get that illnesses can happen super quickly, however unfortunately in this instance we will not be able to reschedule for another date, as the mini session event has been scheduled on a specific date. If you miss the mini sessions but would like to book in a full session with me for your family, your $30 session fee will be deducted from the cost of the full session (you can view options here). Please note that the session fee is non-refundable in the event that you aren’t able to attend on the day.

What if I’m running late on the day? 
Your session will begin at the time that you’ve booked, and will run for roughly 10 minutes. Please make sure you are at the location 5-10 minutes before your session is due to start. If you do run late on the day, you may have to forfeit some of your session time or your whole session.

What if the weather forecast isn’t good for the day?
While we love a perfect sunny day, this isn’t always possible. Mini Sessions will go ahead unless torrential and widespread rain is forecast, or a severe thunderstorm/weather/heat warning has been released for the day.
A backup date for each mini session date will be communicated via email and in the Facebook group, so that if there is the need to reschedule due to weather we have a date ready to go. Please keep this date free where possible. If there is some wind on the day but it isn’t enough to force a reschedule, please check out my post around making the best of a windy situation

How and when will I see my photos?
Photos will be available for viewing via a private online gallery no later than 6 weeks after the mini session event takes place. Galleries will be active for one week for you to select the photos you would like to keep. 

How much is being donated back to the school/organisation? 
50% of all session fees will be donated to the school/organisation. 30-50% of upgrades will be donated back to the organisation, again depending on the size of the fundraiser selected.
